First Underrated TikTok Niche
Starting off with the first underrated TikTok niche for 2024. As I’m making this video, I’m starting to regret this decision a little bit. I was about to make a page in this niche, so I should have kept it to myself. But anyways, flashback to a few weeks ago when I’m scrolling TikTok trying to find a niche for my new page. So, I’m scrolling on my phone, and out of nowhere, I find this video that got 100 million views. This video isn’t something that’s hard to make, so out of curiosity, I click on the profile to see what this creator is doing to get this many views. To my surprise, every video on the page is hitting over 1 million views, with a few of them reaching over 50 million views.
Research and Opportunity in the Niche
So, I’m doing the math, and I calculate that this page is doing over $100,000 per month, and all they’re doing is uploading compilations of dangerous sea videos. So, I do a little digging and I find a few other pages in the same niche that are all doing the same thing. Now, all these pages are focusing on the North Sea, and they all have the exact same song playing in the background. All these videos appeal to a wide audience, bringing in millions of views each. But the best part is these videos are very easy to create, so you can get these made in bulk and have many videos ready for the next month of content.
Strategy to Create Content in the Niche
Here’s what I would do to get these videos made quick and easy. I would research the most dangerous seas and pick one. Now, the reason you pick one and stick with that is so you can become the go-to page for that one thing. But you need to make sure that the sea you choose is popular and trending on TikTok. Next, you’ll go onto YouTube, find about 10 to 15 clips, and put the best ones together to get a video longer than 1 minute. Now, it’s important for the video to be over 1 minute so that you can make money with the TikTok Creativity Program. Then you add trending music to your videos, and you should be good to go.
Second Underrated TikTok Niche
Now, this next niche is doing very well on TikTok at the moment. Looking at this page, they are posting daily videos, with many of them getting over a million views. And as you can see, this video has managed to get over 50 million views. After looking through the page, the account owner could be making 50K per month. Looking at the rest of the videos, it seems as if the creator has found a concept that works because all the videos look very similar.
Strategy for Travel Niche
All they are doing is taking a random country and showing cool places to visit there. It’s the same song every time, with the clips cut to the music. Now, this is just one example of a page in the travel niche, but there are many others. So, here’s what I would do to make these videos: Go to ChatGPT and ask it to list out the most beautiful places in the world. Then look for clips and put them in a one-minute compilation. Now, there are two important steps for a successful travel video. First is the opening clip; you want to make sure that the clip is interesting enough so the viewer has to stop scrolling. Step two is the title text; this needs to intrigue the viewer to watch until the end.
Key Elements for Engagement
Looking at this account, every video begins with the title “Places on Earth That Don’t Feel Real.” Also, notice how they reuse the same starting clips for every video. This page is using the same clip of a purple apple getting cut with a knife, and if you scroll down further, they have many videos opening with the same clip of two guys jumping into mud. So, we can guess that these clips, along with the title “Places on Earth That Don’t Feel Real,” are hooks that work well.
Third Underrated TikTok Niche
Now, this next niche has been booming over the last few months and could be the most untapped niche in the list. So, men’s self-improvement has been going viral on TikTok lately. The best part is that there are many sub-niches that you can go deeper into as a way of reducing the competition.
Benefits and Strategy for Lookmaxing
If you look at Google Trends, you can see that the interest in lookmaxing has been going up over the last few months. On TikTok, short and punchy how-to videos have been getting a lot of views. Looking at this video, for example, it has managed to get 2 million views. When it comes to making money, I mentioned that I made 15K last month with the TikTok Creativity Program. But the best part about the lookmaxing niche is that you have many other ways to make money too. Instead of relying on the TikTok Creativity Program, many creators have online courses and communities that make a lot of money.
