You will be an important part of providing fundamental healthcare services at the community level as a Lady Health Visitor. LHVs play a crucial role in delivering high-quality maternal and paediatric healthcare, supporting health education, and increasing community knowledge of critical health behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- offering community women services for family planning, postpartum care, and antenatal care.
- organising immunisation clinics and making sure kids get their shots on time.
- observing the development and growth of infants and young children.
- the delivery of health education classes on a range of subjects, such as diet, hygiene, and reproductive health.
- identifying high-risk pregnancies and directing pregnant women to the best medical centres.
- collaborating with community stakeholders, such as local leaders and community health professionals, to address health challenges.
- keeping accurate and current records of the health services rendered.
- taking part in educational and capacity-building initiatives to advance knowledge and abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements:
