You will have the honour of helping judges with their everyday tasks and learning useful information about how the legal system functions as a legal Assistant. Key Responsibilities:
- doing legal investigation and analysis to aid judges in formulating decisions.
- composing legal papers, such as orders, judgements, and memos.
- preserving records, managing case files, and making sure they are accurate and full.
- helping to organise and prepare for court hearings and proceedings.
- coordinating with other court employees, attorneys, and pertinent parties.
- giving judges the administrative assistance they need.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- a law-related bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university.
- strong analytical and research skills in law.
- proficiency in drafting and writing legal documents.
- understanding of the law and the judicial system.
- excellent written and vocal English proficiency.
- strong time- and project-management abilities.
- Computer literacy involves software and tool use skills for legal research.
